Quality workmanship is something Rice takes very seriously. In short, we simply do things better than we have to.
Whereas many subcontractors just seek to avoid bad marks from the local building inspector, we set the bar a little
higher by employing our own Quality Control Inspectors. You see, we inspect our own work using a ten point scoring
system covering all aspects of the job - even those not of interest to a building inspector. At Rice, we're not just
interested in meeting the minimum specifications of the building code - we're interested in giving you the
best quality and service that we can provide.
We’re also committed to a safe work environment, both for our employees and for those around them. All of
Rice’s employees undergo an extensive safety orientation, and safety is continually reinforced at meetings with
the company Safety Coordinator.
Rice sees OSHA and other safety regulations not as something we “have to do”, but as a key to our success. By making safety a priority, we do better work. It is our goal to be the safest subcontractor not only in the area, but in the world.
